Summer is coming fast so we’re visiting to tidy up again.
Some repairs needed to lamps and doors – just simple wear and tear but we like to keep things as good as they can be. A loose light fitting in the main bathroom and the shower screen, both needed some attention.
Replaced items such as the extractor hood filter, batteries in the light controls and light bulbs and put in new soap dishes for both showers. A new iron as well as the old one was looking a bit the worse for wear.
On a bigger scale, all of the gutters and downpipes on the outside of the building have been replaced and the gas piping given a lick of paint.
The week started with lovely sun but then the rain returned … ahh well.
There are some great runs around here and we both often fit in 10km or so, last visit I managed a full half marathon which with these hills is quite something!
Sea Spray, the old Bodhi’s, has found its feet and the food there is now very nice – the views remain fabulous of course. We tried the Maharajah – lovely food, great views (book a window table!) and there is a taxi company opposite! As so often, we had a great meal at The Fish house, probably my favourite restaurant of all.
